As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Intake in Breinigsville, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):

  • All candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for communication and task management.
  • Email correspondence should reflect a basic understanding of email functionalities, including composing, replying, forwarding, and attaching documents.
  • Candidates are encouraged to familiarize themselves with email etiquette, including the use of appropriate subject lines, greetings, and signatures.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):

  • Candidates should possess prior customer service experience, which may be assessed through email interactions during the recruitment process.
  • Emails should be written in a courteous and professional manner, reflecting the candidate's ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Responses to inquiries should be timely, demonstrating respect for the recipient's time and needs.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, visitor credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for entry to restricted areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and documenting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
