How This Role Works

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access and visitor records in accordance with site requirements.
• Help to deter unauthorized access to production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and other restricted areas by observing entry activity and reporting suspicious conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points; observe and report hazards, damaged barriers, and other security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
