Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Processing in Rochester, NY. This role provides reliable, consistent hours with a fixed anchor shift and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $18.79 per hour, with a DayTime schedule (Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM). It is designed for part‑time employment with potential progression to full‑time roles and benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at an aerospace and defense location.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, and directing employees, guests, and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security‑related systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity or access concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation while protecting sensitive information and following site‑specific confidentiality requirements.

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
