As a Security Officer Part Time Visitor Credential Driver in Monroe, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a utilities location by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing employees, contractors, and guests to appropriate areas.
• Verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site‑specific access control procedures; issue and collect visitor passes as directed.
• Monitor front desk access points, alarm notifications, cameras, and other security‑related systems, and report unusual activity or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, delivery, and incident records in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site‑specific response protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
