Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel; verify identification, manage visitor registration, and issue visitor credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from the front desk, escalating unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident records while communicating clearly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Management in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.67 / Hour

Mon 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
