Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced - Part Time for Atlanta, GA. This role provides reliable, flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick-up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will deliver guest and employee safety, patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, and uphold site-specific policies while working up to 40 hours if needed. Compensation is $19.19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be needed by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, tenants, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, property concerns, and policy violations, and complete incident documentation as required.
• Assist with crowd management, access control, directions, and coordination with location management and/or emergency responders when appropriate.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Security Walkthroughs in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
