Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Urbancrest, OH. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick‑up extra shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

The position focuses on access control, customer service, and security procedures at a logistics/distribution site. A high school diploma is required, and driving positions require a valid license.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and drivers, and documenting arrivals, departures, and other required activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for incidents, patrols, deliveries, and other security‑related activities.

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
