Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at a commercial real estate location with access control procedures.
• Verify credentials and maintain visitor/contractor records, issue access badges, and direct individuals to locations.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeters; document observations.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports and support security procedures to deter unauthorized access.

Job Schedule

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the property by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, issuing access badges or passes as authorized, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate professionally with site personnel, and support security‑related procedures that help to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
