Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Site Patrol. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional hours through our scheduling platform, up to a 40-hour week, and a pay rate of $25.00 per hour.

You will provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors, conduct patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and prepare clear reports in accordance with site procedures.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; direct individuals and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify personnel and document activities.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Site Patrol in San Francisco, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 08:45 AM - 04:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, directing individuals to appropriate areas and reporting access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and responding emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
