Allied Universal in Culver City, CA is hiring a part-time Enhanced Security Officer (Unarmed) to provide security at a technology-focused corporate site. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, aiming to build income stability while pursuing a full-time career within the industry leader.

Pay rate is $21 per hour with a Wednesday night shift from 11:00 PM to 7:45 AM.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background checks will be conducted.
• Allied Universal may consider candidates with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• A drug screen may be conducted where allowed by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Readiness in Culver City, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Wed 11:00 PM - 07:45 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Support a professional environment by providing directions, answering questions, and escalating security-related concerns through established communication channels.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
