Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization; report irregularities to site contacts and leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following escalation protocols.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Response in Culver City, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:45 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to buildup to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify authorization in accordance with site procedures and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while communicating relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card/license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
