Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Hereford, TX. This role offers reliable hours at a designated site with opportunities to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $15.00 per hour with weekly pay. Fixed anchor shifts for six months, plus the option to work extra shifts and build toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and maintenance concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Weekly Pay

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
