Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner and document observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas and entrances.
• Monitor access points and assist with deliveries, contractors, and visitors entering restricted areas.
• Communicate professionally with store personnel, customers, and local emergency responders per Allied Universal procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Assistance in Orlando, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.49 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSun08:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report incidents according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and help maintain awareness of deliveries, contractors, associates, and visitors entering restricted or nonpublic areas.
• Communicate professionally with store personnel, customers, and local emergency responders while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
