Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store, mall common areas, stockroom access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor activity and report incidents, policy concerns, or maintenance issues to site leadership or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow post orders, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports and incident documentation per site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Lockbourne, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Day: Tue
• Time: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a retail location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store, mall common areas as assigned, stockroom access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter theft‑related concerns.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, access points, and merchandise areas; report observed incidents, policy concerns, or maintenance issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following post orders and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
