Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the community grounds, amenities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the community and verify visitor and vendor authorization.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in reports and communicate with leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Lake Geneva, WI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community grounds, amenities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to the community in accordance with site‑specific procedures, verify visitor and vendor authorization as required, and maintain accurate activity records.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in clear, timely reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
