• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner; document observations and incidents according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols across community grounds and common areas to identify unusual activity or concerns.

As an Unarmed Security Officer in a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with residents and visitors, and use computer or tablet tools as needed. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document and report observations and incidents according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential community grounds, building exteriors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe vehicle and pedestrian activity, and assist with directing visitors and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Maintain clear communication with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
