Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Alarm Panel Patrol in Tampa, FL. This role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

You will provide customer service to tenants and visitors, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and document activities in accordance with site procedures. A high school diploma and background check are required; CPR/First Aid and alarm panel experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of building areas, parking lots, and entrances to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in site reporting procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Alarm Panel Patrol in Tampa, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Fri: 04:00 AM - 10:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, tenant spaces as assigned, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
