Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time TWIC Perimeter Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL. This role provides security services, monitors access, responds to incidents, and conducts port perimeter patrols on a flexible part-time schedule.

Pay rate is $17.06 per hour. Fixed anchor shifts with optional extra shifts let you Earn More, Claim-A-Shift while staying within a stable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and maritime personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorized entry, and direct visitors and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of port facilities, perimeter areas, gates, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time TWIC Perimeter Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.06 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Fri: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
