Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time in Nashville, TN. This role offers reliable, fixed hours at an assigned site with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. Pay rate: $19.75 per hour.

Minimum age 18 (21+ for armed roles). Requires high school diploma, background check, and drug screening where permitted.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store team members while carrying out site‑specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor activity to help support a welcoming retail environment and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and policy violations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Security Presence in Nashville, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
