Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Guest Services in Beverly Hills, CA. This role provides reliable, fixed hours with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling program.

You will greet visitors, verify IDs, monitor access, and deliver exceptional customer service at a commercial real estate front desk. Compensation is $20.90 per hour with daytime schedule options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Ages: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate front desk.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security systems; report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and tenant requests in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with responders.
• Answer and route calls, provide directions and building information, support a welcoming lobby environment.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Guest Services in Beverly Hills, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.90 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 02:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 02:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security‑related systems; report unusual activity or concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Answer and route calls, provide directions and building information, and support a professional, welcoming lobby environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Possess a Guard Card or license preferred.
• Possess customer service experience preferred.
• Possess access control or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
