Qualifications

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at a commercial real estate front desk.
• Monitor access by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining records.
• Answer phones, manage deliveries, and relay information to building personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor security systems, alarms, cameras, and access-control activity and report irregularities.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Intake in Beverly Hills, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

DayTimeTue02:00 AM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Answer phones, direct inquiries, manage deliveries, and communicate relevant information to building personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor security-related systems, alarms, cameras, and/or access-control activity and report irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergency situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while documenting activities and notifying appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
