Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time for Rincon, GA. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at a designated site with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

The position supports reception duties and front desk contact, with a path to fuller-time hours if desired. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour, with a fixed weekly shift and a six-month commitment, plus a program to earn more by taking additional shifts at other sites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees at a manufacturing and industrial facility while following site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Serve as the primary front desk contact by greeting visitors, verifying identification and access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Monitor access points, incoming communications, and security‑related systems as assigned, and report unusual activity or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner while following established emergency response procedures.
• Assist with directing visitors, answering routine inquiries, and maintaining a professional, welcoming front desk presence that helps to deter unauthorized access.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Day: Thur


• Time: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
