Allied Universal® in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception to provide reliable front-desk service at a residential location. You will greet visitors, verify authorization, issue access credentials, and maintain a professional lobby presence.

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and security-related front-desk duties at a residential location.
• Greet visitors, verify authorization, maintain visitor records, issue access credentials as directed, and communicate entry requirements in a professional manner.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, cameras, and/or communication systems, escalating unusual activity or concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders when required.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and front-desk logs while supporting a welcoming and professional environment.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception in Knoxville, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 08:00 PM Sun08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
