Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Inspection in Mount Pocono, PA. The role offers a flexible base schedule with opportunities to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with day-time and weekend coverage. You will perform fixed anchor shifts and have access to shift-claiming through our scheduling platform, supporting both part-time and potential full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors while carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions requiring attention.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities according to Allied Universal and location‑specific reporting procedures.
• Help maintain an orderly environment by monitoring access points, observing customer traffic, and communicating relevant information to store leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
