Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Incident Support in Atlanta, GA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $16.49 per hour, with potential to increase earnings via extra shifts. You will provide customer service at a cultural institution, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, volunteers, and guests while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, exhibit areas, public spaces, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observer visitor activity to maintain an orderly environment and protect exhibits, collections, and property.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, concerns, alarms, and critical situations; follow post instructions.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports and share information with leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Incident Support in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.49 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, volunteers, and guests at a cultural institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of galleries, exhibit areas, public spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity while helping maintain an orderly environment that supports the protection of exhibits, collections, and property.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established post instructions.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
