Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a corporate technology location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of corporate offices, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building conditions; verify credentials and follow site procedures for visitor registration, deliveries, and contractor access.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Incident Awareness in Hawthorne, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
