• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures, assist with access control and maintain logs.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities clearly and promptly, sharing information with site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Incident Coordination in Lynwood, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures, assisting with access control and maintaining accurate logs as required.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities clearly and promptly, communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
