Job summary

Allied Universal in Park Rapids, MN is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings, while maintaining consistent hours at an assigned site.

You will provide customer service to employees and visitors, respond to incidents, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and help maintain a safe environment at a food and beverage location.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required per policy.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or security‑related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing required logs and reports in a timely manner.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Park Rapids, MN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‐up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
