Allied Universal, a leader in security and facility services, seeks a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Patrol in Santa Fe Springs, CA. You will hold a fixed anchor shift, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings.

The role offers hourly pay at $19.00, with a six-month site commitment and potential to scale up to 40 hours weekly. Prior CPR, access control, and customer service experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading docks, warehouse areas, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, employee, and delivery personnel credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol CPR Preparedness in Santa Fe Springs, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
