Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, and exterior perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and support visitor-management processes by verifying credentials, documenting entries, and directing guests per site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Continuity in Chantilly, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
