Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites applications for the Security Officer Enhanced - Part Time position in White Haven, PA. This role offers flexible, anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform, designed to build hours toward a full-time schedule.

Pay rate is $17.50 per hour. The role requires a six-month anchor shift commitment and includes duties ranging from customer service to incident response

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of warehouse areas and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access by observing entry/exit, verifying credentials, and logging visitors/drivers.
• Report security incidents, hazards, damaged property, and unusual conditions via required documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Assessment in White Haven, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials or delivery documentation as directed, and maintaining visitor and driver logs.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards, damaged property, and unusual conditions through required documentation and communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
