Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Patrol in Chattanooga, TN. This role offers fixed, anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, providing reliability and flexibility for flexible schedules.

The position pays $17.00 per hour with a six-month anchor shift commitment and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• A drug screen may be required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading/shipping areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident records.
• Report maintenance concerns and security issues to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Chattanooga, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / HourJob Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading and shipping areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and other security-related issues to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
