Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer in Barstow, CA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform, enabling you to earn more while gaining multi-site experience.

Candidates should be 18+ for unarmed roles, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be prepared for background checks and drug screening. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government human services location; follow site procedures and security protocols.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; direct individuals to appropriate offices or services.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and logs per Allied Universal guidelines.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Barstow, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.46 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government human services location while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing individuals to appropriate offices or services, and report unusual conditions to designated personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
