Allied Universal in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver to provide dependable, flexible hours at an assigned site and to supplement income. The role supports a fixed anchor shift with optional extra shifts through our scheduling platform, offering opportunities to scale up to 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.

Job Schedule

• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
