Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced - Part Time at a Nashville, TN hospital site. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the possibility to pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform, helping you earn more while maintaining a flexible, dependable schedule.

You will ensure patient, visitor, and staff safety, respond to incidents calmly, patrol the site, monitor access points, and document security activities.

Competenze

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license in the job location.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in/around a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Hospital Security in Nashville, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Wed 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned hospital areas, including entrances, public spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, badge verification, and direction of individuals to appropriate areas of the facility.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and facility personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
