Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Theft Deterrence in Beverly Hills, CA. The role offers fixed shifts with an option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $20.96 per hour with a schedule including DayTimeThu11:00 AM - 06:00 PM Fri10:00 AM - 06:00 PM. Roles require a high school diploma and background/drug screening as per policy.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and retail guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the luxury retail location, including sales floors, stock areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with the observation and reporting of suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential loss-prevention concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and promptly communicate incidents, observations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Theft Deterrence in Beverly Hills, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.96 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeThur11:00 AM - 06:00 PMFri10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
