Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in San Francisco, CA. This role provides a reliable, flexible base schedule with opportunities to pick up additional shifts across sites, designed for part-time income with potential to scale to full-time up to 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, professional front desk presence for tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at a commercial real estate location.
• Provide customer service by following site-specific security-related procedures, managing visitor access, and directing guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
• Monitor access points, review visitor credentials and/or sign-in records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate front desk logs, including visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and other security-related observations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Credential Verification in San Francisco, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
