Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk in Wichita, KS. You will provide front desk services at a commercial real estate site, greet visitors, control access, and maintain logs.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with laws; universal background policies apply.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law; licensing may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a front desk.
• Greet visitors, verify IDs and issue visitor credentials; log visitor activity.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, cameras, and systems; report anomalies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with management and emergency responders.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk in WICHITA, KS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, cameras, and/or communication systems, reporting unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; coordinate with building management and emergency responders as directed.Assist with routine front desk communications, including answering phones, directing guests, receiving deliveries, and documenting security‑related activities in daily reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
