Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Gainesville, GA, to provide dependable and flexible security coverage at a healthcare site. The role centers on front desk operations, visitor management, and access control, with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will work a Sunday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM shift, earn $18.00 per hour, and have the possibility to grow toward a fuller schedule by accepting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• CPR/First Aid experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles as per site policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors at a healthcare facility by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, including emergency responses.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, provide facility information, and support visitor management per site requirements.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following healthcare location protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and incident reports, and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk in Gainesville, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors at a healthcare facility by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, provide facility information, and support visitor management processes in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
