Allied Universal in Whitsett, NC is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced for Part Time Flexible Shift Patrol. This role provides reliable hours and opportunities to earn more through optional shifts, with a base schedule at a designated site.

You’ll perform on-site security duties, monitor access, patrol facilities, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service. This position offers part-time hours with potential progression to full-time for eligible employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and authorized entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities through required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Flexible Shift Patrol in Whitsett, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
