Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Entry Control in Keewatin, MN to provide reliable access-control at an industrial site and deliver quality customer service to staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures and security‑related policies at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, issue visitor and contractor access credentials, and maintain accurate access‑related logs and records.
• Screen incoming vehicles, materials, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to access‑control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response activities and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Pay Rate

$18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
