Allied Universal in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time to join a dynamic, community-focused team. This role offers flexible hours, an anchor shift, and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, with pay rate of $19.75 per hour.

You will patrol, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and complete incident reports while ensuring safety for residents and staff at a cultural institution.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per federal/state/local laws.

• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a cultural institution care setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions and assistance as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Milwaukee, WI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
