Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol Operations in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This role provides reliable, scheduled hours at an assigned site with optional extra shifts to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $19.50 per hour. The schedule includes Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, with ability to pick additional shifts via the scheduling platform and grow toward a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees and visitors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, including sales areas and entrances.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to site contacts.
• Help deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized activity with a professional presence.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol Operations in Santa Fe Springs, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, potential hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Help to deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized activity through a professional presence and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
