As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Front Desk in Newton, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.93 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Staff the front desk and manage visitor reception, sign‑in processes, credential issuance, and access requests in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and front‑desk communications, reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, delivery, and incident records while supporting a professional and welcoming entry experience at a manufacturing location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
