Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel following site policies and emergency procedures.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings and surrounding areas to identify and report safety concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials while maintaining logs and incident reports.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, escalating concerns to Allied Universal and site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Dispatch in Morrisville, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a healthcare and biopharmaceutical manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production‑support areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate security‑related logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel, contractors, and visitors while escalating security-related concerns to appropriate Allied Universal and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
