Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver First Aid Patrol in Flat Rock, MI. This role offers reliable, fixed hours with optional extra shifts via a scheduling platform to increase earnings, and a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

The position includes a fixed Sunday shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with opportunities to scale up to 40 hours per week and to grow into additional shifts at other sites.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license preferred per policy.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
• Experience with customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and document actions.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of offices, tech spaces, parking, entrances and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report concerns to site leadership.
• Maintain clear activity logs and incident reports and communicate with clients and responders.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver First Aid Patrol in Flat Rock, MI, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, technology spaces, parking facilities, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with client representatives, employees, visitors, and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
