Job summary

Allied Universal® Lewisville, TX is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Desk Ambassador to join our team. You will provide customer service at the front desk, manage access-control procedures, and monitor site security with a focus on reliability and safety.

The role offers fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, designed to increase earnings while gaining experience across sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Receive incoming calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, manage communications, and provide information regarding site entry procedures and facility policies.
• Monitor access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and other security-related equipment; report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document observations, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Desk Ambassador in Lewisville, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
