Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Assistance in Garner, NC, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and assist with visitor management and contractor check-in procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisory experience is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
