Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Credential Control in Forest, MS. This role provides reliable, fixed shifts at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will handle access control, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and document logs in line with site procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records in accordance with site procedures.
• Control access to restricted areas within an aerospace and defense location, escalating unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and support a controlled environment.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Control in Forest, MS, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.96 / Hour

Job Schedule

Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
