Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Management in Brownsville, TX. This role offers reliable, fixed anchors with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, enabling higher earnings while maintaining a part-time base.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain logs and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents and alarms, notifying site contacts and leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points and production areas to identify hazards or irregular activity.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift documentation following site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Management in Brownsville, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and help control access to restricted manufacturing and industrial areas.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, unsecured doors, and potential hazards.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift documentation while following site requirements for protective equipment and access‑control protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
